Before we talk

A few practical questions.

Do we need our own developers?

Your role centres on client knowledge, workflow clarification, presentation and changes. AlmOps provides the agreed technical work. You still need a responsible person and time for the client work you take on.

How much can we earn?

There are two models: earn a percentage of every payment when your client works directly with AlmOps, or receive a partner discount on all AlmOps payments when you work with the client. The discount depends on your partner grade. Both models cover the initial project, support, hosting, new modules, renewals and one-off payments. Rates and payment procedures are being defined. Assess returns after your sales, discovery, rollout and other costs; future client payments are not guaranteed.

Does commission depend on ongoing work or end after the main payment period?

No. Commission remains with the introducing partner while the client continues paying AlmOps, including minimal security support and hosting. Direct orders and a change of servicing integrator do not end it. Additional work and its payment are agreed separately.

Who contracts with and invoices the client?

In the commission model, the client works with and pays AlmOps directly. In the partner-discount model, you work directly with the client and receive a discount on every AlmOps payment, based on your partner grade. Contracting and invoicing details are agreed for the selected model before work starts.

Who handles technical problems?

AlmOps is responsible for its agreed technical service. Contact routes, hours, response commitments and any partner support duties are set for the project before launch.

How does the client pay?

The intended model is a fixed monthly payment for an agreed scope, with a main payment period based on complexity. After the agreed payment conditions are met, the client can use and modify the paid version for its own business under a non-exclusive licence. An agreed one-off payment is an alternative. Exact fees and licence terms are set in the offer and agreement.

Can the client operate independently?

That is an accepted commercial principle after payment conditions are met. The intended handover includes source code, data export, instructions and the necessary runtime rights. Exclusive rights and the builder remain with AlmOps.

The client can arrange its own support or choose a reduced minimal security support plan; hosting has separate terms. Deployment by AlmOps in the client’s environment is an additional service. Detailed terms are still being developed.

What happens when the client wants a new feature?

The improvement gets its own assessment, payment and period. Previous payments and paid rights are preserved. Minimal security support does not include unlimited development.

Can we start without a client project?

Yes. Describe your business and the kinds of requests you receive. We can discuss fit before selecting a specific opportunity.
